Amy has always been upset that she has never been able to bring limes to school. Limes are a source of popularity among the students, even though they aren't allowed in school. When she finally can bring them, she becomes increasingly popular and is very happy. Trouble erupts when Jenny, a girl who has teased her, tries to be nice to Amy to get limes. Amy does not fall for the trick and Jenny, who is upset that she can't have limes, tells the teacher that Amy has them. He slaps Amy's hands in front of the class. So, Amy learns that being proud and popular can come back to haunt you.
