How do we gain insight into Amy's personality when she goes to stay with Aunt March?

Amy is very selfish and very motivated by things. She doesn't like Aunt March much until she realizes that Aunt March will leave the girls some of her possessions. Amy seems more concerned about her things than about people. She writes a will to make sure where her things will go if she dies.
