Bay Walker, named after his grandfather, is the youngest and most intelligent of the Walker children. In some ways, he suffers fewer physical affects of Viviane's alcoholism than his brothers and sisters. The psychological effects, however, are greater for him because he never knew his mother as anything other than an addict.
