Nina Dockweiler and her husband are a young couple who are interested in adopting a child. Nina, however, is unable to qualify as an adoptive parent because she suffers from a heart condition. When Nina arrives home one day and discovers Wily Sheener's dead body on top of Laura, she dies of shock.
