Who is Augustus (Gussie) Fink-Nottle from Life with Jeeves and what is their importance?

Gussie Fink-Nottle is one of Bertie Wooster's young acquaintances. He spent most of his young life living like a hermit in the country, where he indulged his fascination for studying newts. He is later introduced to Aunt Dahlia as a guest at Brinkley Court, where he meets Madeline Bassett. Aunt Dahlia then persuades him to be the Prize Giver and Speaker at Market Snodsbury's local grammar school.
