What is the author's tone in Leda and the Swan by William Butler Yeats?

The tone is very sexual and violent. Yeats uses forceful words that represent a violation and discard of the girl. Some say there is a romanticism about the poem with suggests that Leda was not raped but I think the details of a forced sexual encounter and later discard of the girl pretty much sets the tone of the poem.
