What plan do Stevie and Susan Carol develop to identify the blackmailer in Chapter 6?

When he meets Susan Carol on the court, Stevie asks her if she's been able to find the blackmailer in the gray suit. Susan Carol points out that there are numerous men wearing identical suits, so Stevie comes up with a plan for Susan Carol to talk to them to see if she recognizes the voice of the blackmailer.
