At what point is Mikage at peace for the first time since her grandmother's death? Why?

Mikage finally finds peace after her grandmother's funeral by sleeping on the sofa next to the Tanabe's kitchen. The kitchen's sounds are very soothing to Mikage and encourage the stay with the Tanabe family.
