Where did Beatrice want her husband buried and why was he buried in Luxembourg?

Beatrice wanted her husband to be buried at West Point beside the men of his army who had fallen. However of all the thousands of American who had died on foreign soil during World War II, not one man was shipped home for burial. It was too expensive. So Patton was buried in Luxembourg.
