At the end of Chapter 2, what was Operation Greif?

Hitler created a plan that was to be headed by Otto Skorzeny. He called it Operation Geif. Skorzeny and his men were to infiltrate enemy lines wearing American uniforms and pretending to be U.S. soldiers. They would speak English and cause confusion by spreading false rumors, capturing bridges, and killing Americans.
