Julius Caesar
- The idea for the assassination was to create a republic and take absolute power away from one man, Caesar. The problem was that other men wanted power as well. There was no intention for shared power.
-Once Caesar is dead, there is a power vacuum. Antony and Octavius rise up to take Caesar’s place as rulers and was ensues.
- I think Brutus felt in his heart this was a mistake. Despite Cassius’s lies and stratagems, Brutus's hesitation showed this was a mistake.
