describe the omens/signs in nature that served as a warning of what was to come

There are a plethora of signs, omens, and portents that run throughout the play, Julius Caesar. One such omen is the dream, or series of dreams, that Calphurnia has in regard to Caesar. One dream she has shows a lot of Romans standing around washing their hands in his blood. (2.2.11) Then, there is the soothsayer that tells Julius to 'beware the ides of March'(1.2.1) Last, there is the use of birds as signs of omen. For example, Cassius knows he is going to die in battle because the two eagels that fed from teh hands of soldiers were replaced by ravens and crows.
