Jane's worst character flaw would either have to be her unyielding pride or her desire to live life only by reason and logic. She continually dismisses her emotions, not trusting them, but rather clinging to what 'ought' to be done or said or thought. Additionally, and perhaps worse of all, is her pride that will not allow her to see what is plain to the reader from early on.
