What happens when Edward Constable confronts Henry in Chapter 45?

Jack sends Constable out with his letters as well as lemons and a mirror to deliver to Mr. Phipps. Mr. Phipps is found by Constable in a dingy bar and seems displeased about the parcels from Jack; he sends word that Jack can only rely on his silence for the moment and he refuses the parcels.
