To whom does Jack write a letter in Chapter 58? What does he relate in the beginning of the letter?

Jack again writes to Henry about growing up with Tom after Silas's imprisonment. Tom describes growing older with Sophina and the love they shared; when breaking into houses, they would make love in them at age fourteen.
