How does Jack describe his first meeting with Henry Phipps in Chapter 71?

When Jack met Henry, he was on his way to be exiled and Henry was a four-year-old orphan who was kind and gave him food on his journey. Jack promised Henry he would get him from the orphanage and care for him, and so he did.
