Why does Lily enjoy Sunday mornings?

On the days when she has to work, she is awakened by Emmy and has to spend her morning getting her ready and feeding her. By the time she finishes, she is late for work and barely has time to get ready and eat herself. Sunday mornings are nice. When Emmy wakes, Lily takes her back to bed with her. They lie together, and Lily listens to her babble. There is no rush to get up or be somewhere. Sometimes Emmy falls back to sleep. Lily enjoys the slower pace of Sunday mornings.
