Ishi does not understand why Majapa and others would travel across the ocean to go to war. He knows Majapa to be a man of peace and does not understand why he would fight when he does not even want to hunt for food. Majapa explains that that the enemy is powerful and that they will go to help another country fight. After the discussion, Ishi is wary of everyone who enters the museum. He is saddened by the thought that what has already destroyed his own people (fighting) may now destroy Majapa and his people. His anxiety is only relieved after he travels to Outer Ocean to make a sacrifice and pray for peace.
