How are the men at the museum different from other saldu that Ishi has observed?

Much like Majapa, the other men at the museum are much quieter than the saldu that Ishi has observed to in the past. They are polite and do not stare at him the way that the people on the train or in the jail had. They know some Yahi words and try to speak to him in his language and they listen to him. They do not treat him like an object of curiosity, but instead like a fellow man.
