Mortola is a woman once taken prisoner by the Adderhead and tortured. She hates both the Adderhead and Mortimer for the death of her son, and attempts to use Orpheus in order to defeat them both. Unfortunately, she is betrayed and killed by her former servant. Nevertheless, she nearly manages to kill the Black Prince and stop anyone from helping Mortimer during her brief appearance.
