Who is Don Gately?

Don Gately is a staff member at Ennet House Drug and Alcohol Recovery House who has been clean for at least 400 days at the time the story takes place. He meets with other patients to discuss his happiness at being off drugs. He enjoys this and feels that he is making a difference.
