What are the results of watching the Entertainment?

It appears that the Entertainment can have severe consequences. Some people are catatonic after watching the video and it takes a lot to get somebody away from the tape when they are already viewing it. Even the police officers trying to help those watching the video are attracted to it. It is quite powerful and can keep one from fulfilling basic needs, such as eating or using the restroom.
