When soldiers ordered the Jews to wear the yellow star, Bubi proudly created a star out of cardboard and covered it with bright fabric. He was proud and excited to wear it, because of his deep faith. Even though others thought the yellow star represented something ugly or negative, Bubi refused to abandon his beliefs.
