What gifts did Malala's family bring to the villagers in Chapter 4: “The Village”?

The villagers where Malala's grandparents lived were poor, and visitors took many gifts when them, including medicines and other items that couldn't be bought in the village at all. Malala says that the boys played cricket with a “ball” made of plastic bags. When someone became ill in the village, they had to travel long distances for medical care.
