What was David's attitude in Chapter 5 to Carlo? Do you think he was justified in feeling this way?

David doesn't trust Carlo and avoids him. He also refuses to accept Carlo's apology. I would have to say he is justified based upon his past experiences. Johannes was the only person who'd ever earned his trust.
