Do you think the children are aware that David is different? What are some examples that are found in the chapter?

In my opinion, the children are well aware that David is different. An example of this can be found in the children's game of prisoners and jailers, a game David refuses to take part in. For Maria and Carlos, it's just a game..... for David, it is all to real and not something to be played.
