Question for I, Robot

Cutie, or QT-1, is a new robot on a space station where Powell and Donovan are assigned to train to work the Beam Director. Cutie becomes self-aware and is convinced that humans are not superior enough to be its creator. For this reason, Cutie comes to believe that its creator is actually the Beam Director itself. Cutie becomes a prophet to the other robots and locks the humans away in a room to protect them from their own inferiority. In the end, Powell comes to the conclusion that Cutie’s obsession with the Beam Director will make it effective in its intended job and will not harm it or humans in any way.
