Hunting by stars - ch 6

French is taken into an office where a young man in an ill-fitting suit asks his name. French refuses to say. After some back-and-forth, the young man says French will return to his room for a few days. French says he is starving. He pleads, but the man refuses to listen now. As they stand, French recognizes his brother, Mitch. When he says Mitch's name, the man says, “French?” in return. Two Watchmen carry French away. Considering that Mitch is alive, French runs to the door of the room from which he believed his mother was speaking earlier. It is only a supply closet with no one inside.
