Who is Anthony from Honor's Splendour and what is their importance?

Anthony is one of Duncan's soldiers, and as one of Duncan's most trusted men, he chooses Anthony to protect Madelyne while he is away. While he is watching over Madelyne, Anthony teaches her to defend herself, and even steps in when Louddon abuses her.
