In the section titled, Winter, Caitin takes two big steps. First, she reaches out to Jayson; second, she sneaks into the movie theatre to watch the film. Both of these events are symbolic of Caitlin's healing. In breaking into the theatre, she breaks through the emotional boundaries that she created for herself after Ingrid's death.
