Homer depicted the Mycean civilization. His existence is based more on views and his work is thought to be of a series of poets as the Illiad and Odyssey took about two hundred years from 750 BC to 550 BC. Peisistratus delivered Homeric poems to Athens, where the youth learnt them as part of their education. His poems are written from the point of view of aristocracy and disproving various superstitions and ancient myths.
