Who is Principal Davis from Hidden Talents and what is their importance?

Principal Davis is a caring man, who wants the best for his students at Edgeview. Davis finds some of the students very difficult to deal with, however, and when the school is due for inspection, he is aware that some of the people of the local town are unhappy and would like it shut down.
