What does the constable mean when he tells the other soldiers, "straight to horse"?

The constable is aware of the poor condition of the English army and he is convinced that the French will easily be able to defeat the English with very little preparation. In fact, the constable believes that the French will need to do little more than show up to the battle and that their grand appearance will frighten the English into surrendering.
