Katherine wants Alice to teacher her English because she is under the impression that Alice speaks English well. Katherine asks Alice to help her learn the English word for various parts of the body and items of clothing. The lesson is not very successful because not only does Alice not know how to correctly pronounce some of the English words herself, she does not always correct Katherine on her mispronunciations.
