What is the setting of Hell House by Richard Matheson?

Set almost entirely in Hell House, located in Maine just a short distance from the town of Caribou Falls. The house is the very description of evil from the fog that envelopes it to the bog that is a part of it's front yard. The house is huge, and completely furnished and has changed little since occupied by the original owner, Emeric Belasco.
