Do you believe that Chid is a sadhu?

While Chid claims to be a sadhu, or holy man, his actions do not support this claim. His weakness in faith shows as he wires home for money whenever living in the way he thinks he should live doesn't work out. His anger when the narrator first met him also does not align with the claims of someone pursuing enlightenment.
