What happens when Paige tells Nicholas the truth about her past?

Paige drives to Nicholas' house and lets herself in, then slips up to the master bedroom. Nicholas is asleep when she enters. Paige kneels beside the bed and caresses his face until he wakes. Nicholas pulls Paige up onto the bed and sits beside her. Nicholas quietly tells him that she was not a virgin when they married and that she had had an abortion. Nicholas becomes enraged, accusing her of lying to him. Paige tries to tell him that it is the abortion that was the root of her problems with Max, why she left him and Max. However, Nicholas does not want to listen and he throws her out of his house.
