What do Nicholas and Paige discover is wrong with Max?

Nicholas and Paige wait for the pediatrician to come tell them something. Finally, the doctor tells them that Max has an abdominal mass. Paige asks if the baby is alright, but the doctor ignores her, annoying Nicholas. The doctor tells them they are going to do a sonogram, then a decision will be made as to what to do. The doctor returns a few minutes later and says they are going to operate.
