Would Harrision Be Considered a Martyr? Why or Why Not?

In my opinion, Harrison bergeron was a martyr. He stood up for his beliefs, publically annouced his opposition to the views of society, and allowed anyone who would stand up with him to be glorified. In the end he is killed for what he believed.... the definition of a martyr.
