Act 1 scene 2 How did hamlet become mad

In act 1 sc 2, nothing is really established regarding Hamlet's sanity. In general, there is no consensus on whether Hamlet was acting mad or was actually mad. Personally, I think Hamlet was merely "mad in craft". Hamlet had carefully planned everything he did. He was certainly stressed and depressed but I don't think he was crazy.
