Who is Mrs. Bailey in the book, Half a Chance: A Novel?

Mrs. Bailey is the father of Nate and Emily and the wife of Mr. Bailey. She works as a teacher. She and Mr. Bailey argue about Grandma Lilah’s disability throughout the novel. She worries about whether Grandma Lilah will or will not be able to make it through the rest of their vacation.
