Who is Grandma Lilah in the book, Half a Chance: A Novel?

Grandma Lilah is the grandmother of Nate and Emily. She is the head of the local chapter of the Loon Preservation Committee, but is sadly suffering from dementia. She is aware of her brain disability, but she does her best to live as well a life as possible while she can. She is constantly apologetic for her condition, and gives Lucy her blessing to have the photo taken of her published.
