Who is Emily in the book, Half a Chance: A Novel?

Emily is the older sister of Nate and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bailey. At 15, Emily is very kind, very considerate, and very thoughtful. Emily frequently joins Nate and Lucy on their expeditions to loon island, and helps them to make posters warning boaters about getting too close to the island.
