Ansel is the dog who belongs to Lucy. Ansel is a very sweet dog who is also very protective of Lucy. He is a constant companion for Lucy, and even kayaks out to loon island with her one day. Ansel proves to be the best friend Lucy has, for even when Lucy and Nate get into a disagreement, Ansel is there for her.
