North Conway, New Hampshire, is the town near the lake where Lucy and her family move, and where Nate and his family vacation. It is a small town, full of locally-owned and operated businesses such as Barton’s Grocery and Lakeview Gift Shop. The North Conway area is noted by its lakes, trees, mountains, and Cherry Mountain in particular. Both Lucy and Nate find the area beautiful.
