Who is Pichuca in the novel, Hades, Argentina?

Pichuca is Isabel’s mother. Tomás first met Isabel due to the fact that Pichuca was friends with Tomás’ mother. In 1986, Tomás returns to Argentina upon hearing that Pichuca is dying.
