What are the differences between how the giants in Part 2, Chapter 1 treat Gulliver initially and how the Lilliputians had treated him?

When the giants first discover Gulliver, unlike the Lilliputians, they do not cage him. In fact, the farmer takes Gulliver home to meet his family and allows him to sit at the dining table with them. Some of this may be because of the physical size difference, since the giants are much bigger than Gulliver, but Swift also uses the differences between the two peoples to imply that the Lilliputians were emotionally small, while the giants are emotionally big.
