Gulliver grows weary of the island after two years, but can't escape on his own. One day, though, while he is on the coast with the royals in his box, an eagle picks up the box and him with it. The eagle drops the box into the sea and he is then found by a passing ship and taken aboard. Nine months later, the ship finally arrives back in England.
