Who is Adeimantus and Glaucon from Great Dialogues and what is their importance?

Adeimantus and Glaucon brothers. They serve as Socrates' primary interlocutors during "The Republic." For the most part, the brothers serve as Socrates "yes-men". They do, however, occasionally raise objections to points Socrates has made.
