Who is Juliana from Graven Images and what is their importance?

Juliana appears in the story, Saint Crispin's Follower. She is the young girl, who has captured Nicholas' heart. Juliana is described as a pretty, young woman, who is obsessed with her own thoughts of revenge against her boyfriend.... at least until Nicholas opens her eyes.
